NANCEE LEE-ALLEN:
Nancee Lee-Allen has a BA in Communications from Brooklyn College and a master’s degree in Psychology from Antioch University.
In 2011, Nancee secured funding for and implemented “the OC WarmLine”, the WarmLine provides phone and text based non-crisis, supportive services to anyone who is struggling with mental health issues and looking for a respectful, caring, and understanding person to offer support and resources in Orange County. The WarmLine operates 18 hours per day, 365 days a year and offers services in 5 languages.
In addition, she has a strong background working for children’s causes including five years at Children of the Night, where she designed their school and supervised the street outreach team.
More recently Nancee worked as Executive Director of South Central LAMP. Their mission is to provide a supportive, nurturing learning environment for economically challenged women and their children.
Nancee has spoken on many diverse topics throughout the United States including Human Sexuality & the Law at Northeastern University School of Law, Harry Potter & Treatment of Teens with PTSD, Mental Health & Bibliotherapy, HIPAA FOR Mental Health Professionals and Finding Your Magic Though SciFi and Fantasy Literature.
